Our arboretum excursion has something for everyone, in every season and includes a fun and interactive separate tour with our tame national wildlife; monkeys, parrots, mcaws, lemurs, deer & more, at the monkey sanctuary. You'll definitely want your camera hand on this tour! 

 

Covering over 160 eco-friendly acres.  Here you will find uniquely spectacular tropical display gardens, seasonal fruit and nut orchards, and the only tropical botanical “Conservatory” with a 12 ft waterfall in the Caribbean. The fruit and nut orchards include over 400 mature cashew trees and a large variety of citrus fruits such as pink grapefruit, Persian and key limes, mango, pineapple, noni, Carambola (aka Star Fruit) and many more! You will also stroll through the newly planted orchard of 900 cashew trees In addition to the collection of exotic species of tropical fruit trees, we have acres of different varieties of Heliconias, Gingers, Orchids, Hibiscus and other beautiful tropical flowers.

 

While strolling through the orchards gardens you will admire the exotic tropical flowers strategically arranged throughout the property.  For the more adventurous explorers there is an extended walk to view the mini-orchards of Pineapple, Coffee, Cacao, several species of Banana such as Plantain and Roatan’s favorite Apple Bananas.

 

The Conservatory, “a place to collect, display and propagate unique plant species” features our Orchid Wall, Mahogany trees, Ornamental Pineapples, Red, and the rarer, White Chenille, numerous palm species and tropical flowers. The 12′ water fall and stream help create the exotic tropical jungle atmosphere you won’t forget.
