ADVENTURE SNORKEL DAY CHARTER

Our historical Port Royal snorkel charter is our most popular offshore adventure for a reason! You won't find any crowds or groups of snorkelers obstructing your snorkeling on this adventure! It's just you, and unspoiled nature at it's finest!

 

Your personal driver will be waiting for you at the port, where you'll be driven to East Roatan to your waiting boat & guides. Enjoy an amazing cruise along the south shoreline taking in the island's lush tropical landscapes as the sea sparkles like diamonds. Your boat will stop at key locations offering you the opportunity to snorkel the magical rock and colorful coral formations inside the reef, with an abundance of multi colored tropical fish, starfish, squids, stingrays and marine life in the warm crystal Caribbean water. Keep your eye out, you might get lucky and spot wild dolphins to swim with! Your boat guides will have refreshments, fruit and snacks available between your snorkel locations to keep your energy going.

 

When you arrive at Port Royal, your guide will point out historical landmarks where the The Spanish unsuccessfully tried to rid the area of pirates so they could transport the New World gold to Spain in peace, in 1650. You can still to this day, see reminence of the old canons.

 

After an extended and beautiful snorkel off Calf and Cow, Starfish Alley, The Horseshoe and drag snorkeling the reef wall, you have an opportunity to anchor off and relax on a private island, fresh water shower to rinse, washroom, walking trails, and a delicious bbq picnic lunch and drinks before heading back to shore.

CAYOS COCHINOS

DAY CHARTER

A one of a kind Caribbean experience only a select few have experienced. The two main islands are called Cochino Grande & Cochino Pequeno. There are also 11 other smaller coral cays, referred to by locals as, The Hog islands. 

Cayos Cochinos is very remote, only reachable by boat. It is the most difficult to get to, even though they are closer to the mainland than the three bay islands, Roatan, Utila and Guanaja. In 1993, the Honduran government designated these cays and surrounding sea a Marine Biological Reserve.

 

Trip Details:

This is a full day trip, leaving early (approx 8:00am), returning before sunset. 

During your 2 hour boat ride keep your camera handy, because you will more than likely see a school of bottle nose dolphins, they love to play along side the boat. Your captain will also set the reels so you can fish. When you arrive on the island you will be received by the Garifuna people, once you are settled in, grab your snorkel gear and enjoy the abundance of marine life, or enjoy the powder sandy beach and soak up the sun. You will also enjoy a traditional cultural lunch.

 

Cost: $300/pp We require 6 person minimum. *This may be a mixed group, not private unless you have enough people in your own group.*

Includes: refreshments & snacks, snorkel & fishing equipment, entry to Cayos (National Park), traditional culture lunch, fees & taxes. 

If weather is not optimal, we reschedule for next best day. 

PRIVATE WHALE

SHARK EXPEDITION

Private Day Charter to Utila, 8 Person Min, 15 Max

Please Note: This is a seasonal charter, optimal sightings between February to May.

 

Book your chance of a lifetime whale-shark charter to Utila, the sister bay island of Roatan, to spend an adrenaline filled day looking for, and swimming with the whale sharks. 

Whale sharks are common around Utila from February through May, with the best chances of seeing them. Although sightings are possible all year round, you will need some luck finding them. *Sightings are not guaranteed during high or low season, as we cannot control the movements of wild mamels.*

Whale shark are seen on ocassion around Roatan, although less frequent.

 

The private yacht charter to Utila takes one to two hours. We will cruise around Utila looking for whale sharks in locations they frequent the most. If we find a whale shark you will have the opportunity to snorkel with them. Your instructor will give you specific do's and dont's before joining the whale sharks, as their preservation and comfort is our number one priority.

We take a break and anchor off on Utila, giving you an opportunity to spend some time seeing the sights and break for lunch (not included, but very reasonably priced).

 

Private Charter: Flat rate $1800.00, for up to 8 people, 9+ people are $150/pp additional. 

Includes: Boat and crew, snorkel guide, fishing and snorkel gear, soft drinks, snacks, beers (after water activities completed), packed lunch. Search in the morning, swim with the whale sharks, then stop on Utila island for a walking tour through a unique village. Option to purchase lunch & drinks before returning to search for whale sharks (if not seen in morning), or return to Roatan.

 

Important Information: Because we are crossing open water, the winds must be optimal for your comfort and safety. If weather is not optimal, we reschedule for next best available day. Consider not booking this charter for your last vacation day to allow rescheduling.
